Dimensional Hooking Workshops

I would be pleased to conduct a dimensional hooking workshop with your guild, at your hooking event or rug camp. My goal is to teach students how to design, plan and hook their project so that after hooking it can be finished into a shaped, cut-out, 3-dimensional or free standing piece. At the workshops, I demonstrate several techniques which can be used in various ways to create dimensionally hooked pieces. I see dimensional hooking as a versatile addition to your repertoire of rug hooking skills.

Dimensional hooking workshops may be taught as 2 or 3 day classes and at week long rug camps. These workshops are usually organized in an open class format with students choosing their own projects. Students may focus on a unique project of their own design or an interpretation of one or more of my designs. As dimensional hooking is a bit “out of the box,” your workshop fee includes your choice of one of my patterns to get you started. Click PATTERNS or WORKSHOPS or GALLERY to see examples of the kinds of projects which may be done in my dimensional hooking workshops. CONTACT me if you would like more information or wish to schedule a workshop.

One day workshops may also be privately arranged for groups of 6 or more students or meet in my home for groups of 4 students. Current One Day Workshops are listed below.
